Die Preisverleihung wird am 29.September bei uns in Sayn stattfinden, wozu ich Sie alle jetzt schon herzlich einlade."

Also the organizer of the performances in Cologne and the tournee through Belgium, France, Luxembourg and Germany accept the agreement. With it all the scheduled performances are veriefied.

19.02.05: The city of Ulmen takes part in our patronage programme and asks companies and private sponsors in the "Vulkan Echo" to support the four ensemblme members: Dominik Prem, Inge Kauter, Alina Linden (all from Alflen) and Marie-There Schmitz (from Ulmen).

18.02.05: The World Youth Day office in Cologne advice us, that we are now official part of the Youth Festival. From 600 applications from all over the world there have been choosen 200: RACHEL - THE MUSICAL ist one of them.

09.02.05: The MEISER Group (Schmelz-Limbach) will support us as Sponsors.

03.02.05: We have a new art consultant and coordinator: Doris Schaefer. Marlies Leibitzki leaves the project in mutal agreement.


January 2005

26.01.05: The foundation Rhineland-Palatine for culture sends us a letter and supports us with a big amount of money.

December 2004

24.12.04: The Team wishes you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Premier Year 2005!!!! We are happy to see you on the 6 of January!

23.12.04: Our office is closed till the 05.01.2005.

22.12.04: The emsemble 2005 is build! We publish the results and changes from the casting here.

21.12.04: Today we have the last round of casting. After that we make the final decisions about the ensemble. Pictures here.

15.12.04: We sended the info-packages to the ensemble members. Inside of it there are the notes, the libretto, the rehersal plane and other important informations. IMPORTANT: : Each ensemble member has to contact our office till the 21.12.2004.

03.12.04: The Project "5000x Zukunft" supports our production in stage design with a bigger amount.

02.12.04: Today ends the possibility to send applications for the post casting.


November 2004

29.11.04: In front of seven Euregio Bishops form Belgium, Germany, France and Luxembourg Raquel Diana, Mathias und Johannes are presenting the production. The bishops wishes us all the best.

24.11.04: The production team beginns to prepare the info-packages for the ensemble.

20.11.04: In the magazine "Blickpunkt-Musical" from November/December there is an artikel about RACHEL - DAS MUSICAL.

18.11.04: The choreographer and the producer decide that the post casting is also for male dancers.

15.11.04: We got a letter that we have a second patron - His Royal Majesty - The Grand Duke Guillaume from Luxembourg!

10.11.04: The production team begins to phone up the members that participated in the casting. It maybe still needs a few days till everybody is reached on the phone.

09.11.04: We publish the provisionally results of the audition under Casting (at the moment just in german). Thanks to all members of the casting and please understand, that we can not took everyone for our ensemble!

08.11.04: The producer decides to have a post-audition for the cast of Rachel and the men-casts. New applications could be send till the 17th of December.

03.11.04: Sarah Bremm beginns her job as first assistant of the stage management.

02.11.04: We have two new team members, which are responsible for the kostume design: Ruth Gibbert und Ursula Zimmer.

27.10.04: From 26. to 27.10.04 Raquel D. da Silva, Mathias Frey, Martin Richerzhagen and Johannes M. Schatz have been in Barcelona, in order to see the architecture and art of Antoni Gaudi. In his style the stage design shall be build. Of cource there also has been a meeting with Stefanie Geisler (Stage Management), who is working at the moment in Barcelona. Images here.

September 2004

30.09.04: Schedule of "Casting" is published. Dates still are variable!

28.09.04: The castingteam begins to contact the applicants to fix the audition dates.

27.09.04: The producer decides which applicants are being invited.

20.09.04: Stage Holding - The Theatre Company will support our production in stage, technics and costumes.

09.09.04: We decided to fill the cast of José (bass) and Lea (alto) with older actors. We are looking for thus two actors each between 30 and 50 years.

08.09.04: Susi begins with the preparations for the audition. There are only 10 days left to the audition deadline!!!

07.09.04: After arrangement with Angel, our choreographer, applicants for the dance team will be invited all together to the audition; after a warm-up Angel will rehearse two choreographies with you (a slow and a fast one); next the possibility exists of showing individually parts of you. Date: Between 20 and 24.10.04. Because of the many applications there won't be a dance-audition for the leading roles.

03.09.04: Johannes, Mathias and Thomas are meeting each other in Seligenstadt. Thomas presents a first piano/songversion of RACHEL. Now the musical has finally also melodies!!! (pictures); a CD version of RACHEL is arranged, which should be ready to the premiere.

02.09.04: Thomas Gabriel, the composer of RACHEL, will be responsible for the music at the final WYD-Service with the pope at 21.08.2005


August 2004

31.08.04: We decided us for a casting associate: Susi Nilles is planing the audition, and will be there for you, your questions and desires during the casting.

31.08.04: The SWR sends a call for audition applications.

26.08.04: New interesting reports are published in the Rheinzeitung and the Trierischer Volksfreund.
20.08.04: Our office is closed till 29.08.04 because of vacations. We answer your applications as soon as possible!
17.08.04: The culturelle office of WYD tells us that there is great interest from the collage of media in Cologne to shoot a movie about the production of RACHEL.
16.08.04: The company management of Huhtamaki invites Johannes at the end of September to a meeting because of sponsoring of RACHEL.
06.08.04: Thomas Gabriel, the composer of the musical, tells Johannes at a phone call, that the composition is doing fine, also the lyrics in the five languages doesn't make any problems.

27.07.04: The youth-representive of the German bishop conference, Bishop Dr. Franz-Josef Bode, is writing in his letter to the producer: "It is in all his aspects a quite impressing project. I wish everyone in the team and in the ensemble deeply all the best for realization. I give the team and the 150 children, youngsters and adults who participate in the musical my unqualified blessing."

26.07.04: Today we toped the 100.000 hits border in one month fot the official website
23.07.04: Now tendering for the audition is also in France and we get the first french applications.
21.07.04: There are a lot of questions concerning the audition and the demands. Johannes answers everyone: Just take courage!
01.-18.07.04: Johannes have been on the Lake of Constance for two weeks. Meanwhile the Website has a lot of visitos.

June 2004
30.06.04: The Frankfurt Hahn Airport will sponsor the project as "Supporter".
28.-29.06.04.: Meeting of the int. management team. After that Euregio conference in Luxembourg. Our partners in Belgium, France and Luxembourg publish the casting advertisement from now on.
23.06.04: Johannes and Mathias visited with Bernhard Zaunseder (Executive director of the WYD in the bishopric Trier) the Arena Trier, maybe the location of the musical-performances.
22.06.04: After Götz Burger (Producer Assistant) working day and night at the website (while watching the European Championship at TV), we are able to go online with our official website www.rachel-dasmusical.de.
18.06.04: Marlies Leibitzki (director) tells Johannes, that she attract support in a spanish dancer, Angel Blasco, as choreographer. Both are living in Bielefeld.
16.06.04: Andreas Eckert, who worked at the reader, meets Johannes at the Marienburg; Andreas thinks about a production of RACHEL - THE MUSICAL in Guben (Brandenburg) in January 2006.
14.06.04: Johannes M. Schatz (Producer) together with Mathias Frey (Executive director) is in Cologne.There is a meeting with the director, Marlies Leibitzki and a meeting with the staff of World Youth Day.
01.06.04: Today we get the letter from the state chancellery: Prime Minister, Kurt Beck, took over the patronage.
